With Trenord, in the STIBM area, groups of children under 14 travel at a discounted rate:

• Free for children (up to 14 years of age), it is necessary to fill in the special form "Viaggi in Gruppo under 14 - elenco nominativo"and send it to the Trenord Group Office when confirming the trip.

• Free admission for accompanying teachers for school groups up to 14 years of age, within the urban area of Milan, or one teacher for every 10 students

• Free admission for accompanying teachers for school groups over to 14 years of age, within the urban area of Milan, or one teacher for every 10 students

Furthermore, there is no free admission for the companion of a person with disabilities or reduced mobility, who therefore travels with a regular ticket (unless in possession of an "IO VIAGGIO" concession that allows it).

For all groups it is mandatory to make a booking request at least 5 working days (weekdays) before the day of travel by filling in the specific group request form directly online.

Traveling in a group is even cheaper, thanks to our discounts:

20% discount on the single ticket fare for adults [from 14 years upwards, minimum fare € 1.40];
50% discount for children [from 4 to 14 years old], not combinable with other promotional offers.
Children under 4 travel for free as long as they do not occupy a seat. Otherwise, they can take advantage of the 50% discount provided for children
For school groups composed of under 14, free admission is granted for an accompanying teacher up to 10 participants, (2 up to 20 etc ...), while for those composed of over 14 there is no free admission.
For groups other than school groups (for example oratories, associations, non-profit organizations) there is no gratuity for the accompanying person.
The companion of a disabled person or person with reduced mobility travels for free (1 per person).

Attention: free travel for accompanying persons is granted by the Trenord Group Office at the time of booking.

The discount applies to 2nd class single journey tickets [not on the Malpensa Express] and is only available if the trains specifically marked on the Trenord official timetable that admit groups are used.

The request for booking a group trip must be made at least 5 working days before the trip is made.
