Strike on March 8, 2025

The USI CIT union has called a national strike from 9:00 p.m. on Friday 7 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday 8 March 2025. The strike could have repercussions on Trenord's Regional, Suburban, Airport and Long-Distance services.

On Friday 7 March, trains scheduled to depart by 9:00 p.m. on the Official Timetable and arriving at their final destination by 10:00 p.m. will run.

On Saturday 8 March, trains on the list of guaranteed trains that depart from the station of origin after 6:00 a.m. and arrive at their destination by 9:00 a.m. will run; in the afternoon, service will resume regularly with trains scheduled to depart after 6:00 p.m.

In the event of cancellation of airport service trains, non-stop buses will be set up between: 

• Milano Cadorna and Malpensa Airport for the Malpensa Express. From Milan Cadorna, buses will depart from via Paleocapa 1. 
• Stabio and Malpensa Airport for  the airport connection S50 Malpensa Airport – Stabio.
