USEFUL INFORMATION
PURCHASE
Tickets purchased ONLINE must be used on the day chosen at the time of purchase. The ticket does not need to be validated.
USE
With the Trenord ticket included in the "TRENI DELLA NEVE – VALMALENCO" package, you can take a maximum of one return journey in second class on Trenord trains (excluding the Malpensa Express).
The Adult SKIING PACKAGE ticket covers travel for a single person, while the Adult + Child ticket allows travel for two people (1 Adult + 1 Child aged between 4 and 13 years).
The SNOWSHOEING PACKAGE ticket covers travel for a single person, Adult or Child.
CHANGES
It is not possible to change the travel date.
REFUNDS
The train ticket is non-refundable.
INSPECTIONS
If requested, simply show the ticket directly on your smartphone.
GROUPS
In case of groups of more than 10 people, before purchasing the tickets, it is necessary to check if the train is available by contacting comitive@trenord.it and assistenza@snowitapp.com.
HOW TO GET THERE
Take the 6.20 or 7.20 train from Milano Centrale towards Tirano and get off at Sondrio (journey time: 120 minutes from Milano Centrale; it is obviously possible to get on at intermediate stops), then go to the office of the Sondrio and Valmalenco Tourist Consortium (located behind the station, at the STPS Terminal, Via Tonale 13) to take the dedicated shuttle bus. The shuttle leaves 10 minutes after the train arrives. Before departure, you will be given your ski pass/cable car ticket.
The duration of the shuttle journey is approximately 15 minutes on the outward journey and approximately 20 minutes on the return journey.
If you purchased the snowshoeing package, you can collect the snowshoes at the office of the Sondrio and Valmalenco Tourist Consortium in Chiesa in Valmalenco (Valmalenco Office, Vassalini, Chiesa in Valmalenco SO), 100 metres from the ski lift.
For the return journey, we recommend the trains departing from Sondrio (direction Milan) at 17.41 or 18.41. The first shuttle leaves at 16.40 while the second one leaves at 17.40 from the office of the Sondrio and Valmalenco Tourist Consortium, Vassalini in Chiesa Valmalenco. You will be able to arrange your return time directly with the Consortium upon your arrival in the morning.
