In case of a strike
In case of strike action lasting 24 hours, TRENORD staff will provide some minimum transport services based on applicable union agreements which are considered acceptable by the Governing Body for the implementation of law on strike action within essential public services (L.146/90, amended by L.83/2000).
LONG-DISTANCE TRAINS
Regardless of the weekday or holiday, in case of a 24 hours strike, the following Trenord Eurocity trains to/from Vienna and Munich are always guaranteed:
- EC83 [Munich (Munchen Hbf.): 9.34 am - Bologna Centrale: 4.19 pm - Rimini: 5.33 pm]
- EC84 [Rimini: 10.34 a.m. - Bologna Centrale: 11.52 a.m. - Munich (Munchen Hbf.) 6.27 p.m.]
ATTENTION!
National strike from 9pm on May 4th to 8.59pm on May 5th 2024.
The Regional, Suburban, Long-Distance Trenord Service and the Airport Service may be subject to changes and/or cancellations.
Guarantee time slots not foreseen
In the event of cancellation of airport service trains, buses without intermediate stops will be set up between:
- Milan Cadorna and Malpensa Airport for the Malpensa Express. From Milan Cadorna the buses will leave from via Paleocapa 1.
- Stabio and Malpensa Airport for the S50 Malpensa Airport – Stabio airport connection.
- Busto Arsizio FS and Malpensa Airport

FASCIA SERALE
18:00 - 21:00
ATTENTION: The minimum services are guaranteed in the time slots indicated only on weekdays.

Trains traveling at the start of the strike will be guaranteed to their final destination only within one hour of the start of the strike.
Trains expected to arrive in the area affected by the strike after one hour from the start of the protest can be stopped in the stations before the arrival station.
NOTE:
The different modalities of trade union agitation in terms of duration, membership, network and personnel involved mean that the list of minimum guaranteed services may undergo changes. Therefore, on the occasion of strikes affecting the guarantee time slots, customers are invited to check for any updates to the list of guaranteed trains.
